When first setting up for the evening it is always easiest to start with the Moon if she is out π
Well, I am a bit peeved. The weather forecast for Jakarta was for mostly clear skies and this afternoon there were large patches of blue, so I set up the scope. Of course I was being overly optimistic π . Clouds, clouds and more clouds !!!
I did get one stretch where I could fire of some subs and this is the result.
This was the first test for the new 6β³ (152mm) Ritchey-Chretien OTA while I waited for the stars to come out enough to start the alignment routines. Started with the ASI120 at prime focus, then 2x barlow and finally 3x barlow.
